PULLMAN—The city of Pullman announced today that Leann Hubbard, CPA has been selected to be the new Finance Director of the city.
Mayor Glenn Johnson made the announcement and said her new position will start May 1, pending council confirmation of the mayor’s appointment.
Hubbard currently serves the city as the accounting manager and has held that position since 2012. Prior to her service with the city she was the director of finance for four years with Valley Medical Center in Lewiston, financial analyst with FirstBank Northwest in Clarkston for six years and spent six years in Pullman as a public accountant with Jon Anderson, CPA.
Johnson noted that the city had five excellent candidates to interview for the position that will replace Bill Mullholland, who is retiring on May 15.
“Leann brings a wealth of experience to the position and her detailed knowledge of Washington local government laws and the city’s complex financial system made her an excellent choice as the new finance director,” Johnson said.
