The city of Pullman is accepting applications for the position of Deputy Director of Public Works.  This position assists the Public Works Director in planning, organizing, directing, and managing the Public Works Department.  The individual would assist the Director in administering the civil and traffic engineering, protective inspections, street maintenance, water/wastewater/stormwater operation and maintenance, transit system, equipment rental, and government buildings operations.  

Qualifications include five years of progressively responsible managerial experience in public works construction projects and/or engineering design; a bachelor's degree in civil engineering or any equivalent combination of experience and training.  Licensed as a professional civil engineer desired.
