| Job Description: |
Regular, year-around, part-time (20 hours per week) - Pro-rated benefits. Day, evening, and weekend shifts. Primary responsibilities include facilitating the development and presentation of youth programs; assisting teachers, parents, and community groups with library needs including readers' advisory, library databases, andonline systems. Applicants must be able to communicate effectively in English, apply a strong knowledge of children’s literature, work well with people of all ages, follow oral and written directions independently and have a strong base of knowledge regarding library procedures and services. |
| Preferred Skills: |
Qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree with three years of library experience or substituting five years of direct library experience for the Bachelor’s Degree. Preference will be given to candidates with library experience working with youth. Employment Application fill-in |
