Public Education Programs

The Pullman Fire Department teaches Medic First Aid. This is an accredited class and is approved by the American Heart Association. Our class is also recognized by Washington State Labor and Industries for the Continuing Education Requirements for Electrical Contractors.

All CPR and First-Aid classes include Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Training.

Please advise office staff in advance of your scheduled class if the class is needed for Continuing Education for Electrical Contractors.

Private Classes are available for 8 or more people. Purchase Orders are required in advance and shall include a complete list of attendees. You will be billed for those in attendance directly following the class. For those companies, organizations or businesses that do not operate with Purchase Orders, payment arrangements must be made in advance. 

Cards are issued upon completion of the class and expire in two-years.  

Payment in advance is required for these classes. Your name will not appear on the roster until payment is received in this office. We accept cash and check payments. The Fire Department business office is located at 620 South Grand Ave. Our hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. THE NEXT FIRST AID WITH ADULT CPR AND INFANT AND CHILD CPR CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED FOR THE FOLLOWING DATE AND TIMES:

Sunday May 4th, 2014

FIRST AID WITH ADULT CPR       9:00 AM - 4:00 PM     $50

For an additional fee you can add the following additional classes: 


INFANT AND CHILD CPR           4:00 PM  - 5:00 PM     $10 
This class is only offered in conjuction with the First Aid and Adult CPR class and cannot be taken separately. 

  
BLOODBORNE PATHOGEN         5:00 PM - 5:30 PM     $10
This class is only offered  in conjunction with the above two classes and cannot be taken separately.

 The Pullman Fire Department conducts educational activities in the Public Schools as well as for any interested living groups.
