Pullman Parks & Recreation is seeking public input from October 1-16, 2015 on the development of Mary’s Park ADA/Inclusive Playground located at 1570 SE Johnson Avenue. Mary’s Park was donated to the city from the estate of Herbert W. Neil’s in 2010. The city has plans to make this playground and ADA/Inclusive playground and is currently seeking public input on which amenities the citizens of Pullman would like to see included in the park. Inclusive playground design is so that accessibility is for people of all ages and abilities, and provides multiple challenges that stimulate sensory, social, and physical wellbeing. Visit the Parks & Recreation website at and see samples of the possible play structures for the park. The City staff has prepared a display board available for viewing at the Park & Recreation offices located at 240 SE Dexter Street; you can leave your input on the proposals while viewing the display or email your comments to This email address is being protected from spambots.
