Two Men Arrested for Theft of 15 Kindles from Wal-Mart

Pullman – Pullman Police served a search warrant on a Pullman residence Wednesday afternoon and arrested 20-year-old Cody A. Richardson for two separate commercial burglaries at the local Wal-Mart store. Richardson’s accomplice in the thefts, 20-year-old Deandre Johnson, was arrested without incident by Pullman Detectives at his residence in Spokane Valley on Thursday afternoon. Both men were booked into Whitman County Jail.

The two men admitted to stealing fifteen (15) Kindle book readers from Wal-Mart the second week of December, valued at a total of $2500.00. Six (6) of the stolen Kindles have been recovered so far.

Felony burglary and theft charges will be requested on both men.
