USE OF STOLEN CREDIT CARD SUSPECT IDENTIFIED & ARRESTED

PULLMAN – The Pullman Police Department issued a press release today at about 2:50 pm asking for the public’s help in identifying photos of a suspect using a stolen credit card in Pullman.  We received numerous calls identifying the suspect as Sarah Boyer, a 20-year-old Pullman resident and WSU student.  Detectives located Boyer at her Pullman residence at about 4:40 pm and arrested her for theft and forgery.  Boyer was released pending charges with the Whitman County Prosecuting Attorney.  Boyer is suspected of using a stolen credit card at four locations in Pullman and two businesses online during the past week.

This incident does not appear to be related to the investigation involving the fraudulent use of hundreds of credit card numbers in the Pullman area.
