Event/Date: CAJUN STORYTELLER JUSTIN COOLEY PERFORMING at Neill Public Library/July 15, 2014

The Friends of Neill Public Library invite you to enjoy a highly entertaining show with Cajun Storyteller Justin Cooley in the library’s Heritage Addition on Tuesday, July 15 at 1:00 p.m.

Cooley, a native of Louisiana, has been sharing Cajun yarns in schools and libraries for years.  He’s known for taking classic fairytales and putting his own Cajun twists into the stories, from beginning to end. The audience is both listener and participant at Cooley’s performances which are perfect for all ages.  In addition to telling stories, he’ll be asking attendees to join him for some toe-tapping Crawfish Shuffling as well. Make plans to join the fun.

Pre-registration is not required for this free, fun library program.  For more information about this or other upcoming Summer Reading events at Neill Public Library, please visit www.neill-lib.org or contact Children’s Librarian Kathleen Ahern at (509) 338-3258.
