Rite Aid Attempted Robbery

PULLMAN – On Monday, April 28, 2014 at approximately 9:25 a.m., a subject attempted to rob the pharmacy inside Rite Aid, 1630 S. Grand Ave. The suspect fled prior to the arrival of responding Pullman PD officers.

The suspect told the pharmacist and pharmacist assistant that he had a gun and motioned as if he was holding a gun under his jacket as he demanded certain pain killer prescription drugs.  As the assistant was collecting the drugs, and for unknown reasons, the suspect fled the store on foot without the drugs.  The suspect is described as a white male in his 20’s, wearing a gray jacket with a WSU logo, knit beanie, sunglasses, and blue jeans.

Anyone with information about the identity of the suspect in this case is asked to call the Pullman Police Department at (509) 334-0802.
